Direct flights from Palanga to Antalya
Tour operator “Join UP! Baltic” is launching flights this week from Lithuania’s seaside to one of Turkey’s most popular resort destinations – Antalya.
- Direct charter flights from Palanga Airport will operate once a week from May 5 to June 9.
- During this period, travelers can plan 7–14-day holidays along the Mediterranean coast.

According to A. Janušauskas, May is a popular holiday period among Lithuanian and Latvian residents. During this time, trips to Turkey’s Mediterranean coast are most often chosen by couples seeking a more relaxed holiday, active travelers, and families with children. Families are particularly drawn to the wide range of affordable entertainment for children, including water parks, children’s pools, amusement rides, creative workshops, sports activities, visits to the Antalya Aquarium, and family-friendly excursions.
Another reason for Turkey’s popularity in spring is the comfortable climate for residents of the Baltic countries. Daytime temperatures reach 22–28°C, while sea temperatures in May are around 20–22°C.
“In addition, tourist flows in Turkish resorts are lower in spring, and travel packages are usually more affordable than in July or August. As a result, our clients can afford a more luxurious or better-located hotel within the same budget,” says A. Janušauskas.
The Antalya region is known for having the highest number of Blue Flag beaches in the world – more than 200. The area is also rich in historical landmarks, including the Aspendos Roman theatre, the ruins of the ancient city of Perge, and Hadrian’s Gate. Nature lovers can enjoy hiking in the mountains, visiting the Green Canyon, rafting in mountain rivers, reaching the summit of Mount Tahtalı, and exploring the Düden waterfalls.
After the summer break, direct charter flights from Palanga to Antalya will resume on September 23 and continue until November 4.
