Fuel Surcharge for Egypt Flights
Due to the ongoing geopolitical events in the Middle East, aviation fuel prices have increased significantly over a very short period of time. Unfortunately, this affects the cost of operating flights, and therefore a fuel surcharge must be introduced for already booked trips to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada.
This price adjustment is based exclusively on changes in transportation costs (fuel prices), as permitted under Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and Clause 5.3 of the applicable travel agreement.
The fuel surcharge applies to all travel bookings to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada with departures scheduled between April 6, 2026, and May 5, 2026 (inclusive), provided that the bookings were made up to March 12, 2026 (inclusive).
For bookings made from March 13, 2026, the increase in fuel costs is already included in the total travel price, and no additional surcharge will be applied.
The surcharge is calculated per passenger (round trip), depending on the destination:
Lithuania | Latvia | Estonia | |
SSH | 55 Eur | 57 Eur | 59 Eur |
HRG | 55 Eur | 57 Eur | 59 Eur |
Please note that infants (children up to 1,99 years old) who do not occupy a separate seat are not subject to this surcharge.
According to information provided by air carriers, aviation fuel prices have increased by more than 50% since March 12, 2026. Therefore, this surcharge is intended to cover the increased flight operating costs and is applied in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
