New hotel offering 45 secluded bungalows and water villas as well as private residences. Velaa Private Island is named after the special turtle species found on the island's sandy beaches. The hotel prides itself on its golf club and spa. Adeline Grattard, a Michelin star chef of one of the best Parisian restaurants, is responsible for the gastronomic component of the hotel. The hotel's wine cellar houses the largest wine collection in the Maldives to date. For all categories of VIP-level tourists.
