The hotel is named after the outstanding Irish naturalist, Charles Telfair, who lived in the area almost 200 years ago. This elegant spa resort is housed in a 19th-century building in tropical gardens on the south coast of Mauritius. It features a 600 m² pool, spa and 18-hole golf course.
